Municipalities can reduce GHG emissions and realize financial savings by embedding low-carbon work into their asset management schedules and budgets. This webinar follows up on an October 2022 workshop where results from the Zero Carbon Whitby & Costing Study were shared (webinar recording here). Zero Carbon Whitby is Whitby’s Corporate Climate Action Plan – a framework to develop and implement GHG reduction actions in municipal buildings from the bottom up, aligning capital and operating budgets with emission reduction targets. In this webinar, SSG presented the methodology and assumptions used in the Study. In addition, we explored how transferable this method is across municipalities.
