Climate policy in North America is undergoing profound change as the USA has passed four new Federal Acts and invoked a fifth Act, representing unprecedented climate action. They affect energy generation, batteries, low carbon homes and business buildings, electrified transportation and industry, clean energy manufacturing, and more; and they respond to the Ukraine war, inflation, the pandemic and climate change weather events.
Bruce Nagy delved into the impact these actions are having on Canadian and US cities, urban planning, citizens, businesses, global economics, and government planning at all levels: The Inflation Reduction Act, Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, American Innovation and Manufacturing Act, American Rescue Plan Act, and the Defense Production Act.
